“Dedicated to the American Farmer.” This five word constitution is what sets The Machine Shed apart from other restaurants.
I recently had the pleasure of eating at The Machine Shed in Appleton. It was my first time there and from the parking lot into the building I knew I would be happy with this establishment. Being from a farming background I loved seeing the tractors and farm equipment outside of the building. The grounds are kept neat and walking in your greeted to warm wood beams and a country theme. The smell of home cooking fills the air.
Hospitality abounds from the Host and Hostess to the waiters and waitresses. The food is cooked from scratch and it was absolutely delicious. Serving sizes are large—I ate way too much but it was too good to put down and prices are reasonable for the amount of food given. Drinking from canning jars reminded me of home when we used jam and jelly jars as glasses.
Located near the Fox River Mall, and just off of Hwy. 41 it is very easy to get to. The Machine Shed in Appleton is offering cooking classes to kids on the first and third Wednesday’s of the month. The General Manager, Jeff Colby, said this class has been a hit. The kids love to get involved and actually get to measure, stir, and cook. For more information on the cooking classes, please call 920-830-2326.
The Machine Shed is located at 220 N. Fox River Drive (Hwy 41 & College Ave/Exit 137) Grand Chute, WI 54914.
I would recommend The Machine Shed to any family looking for awesome customer service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere.
